This cottage is in the oldest part of the village with its narrow twisting roads and alleyways, the cottages and houses nestle together with little shops selling everything you need for your stay. Situated for easy access to unload, White Rose Cottage is in close proximity to the Laurel Inn Public House, Muir Lea Stores and 400 metres from the beach. Gift shops, pubs, restaurants, fish and chips and a museum are just some of the things on offer within the village.
There are so many other places to visit in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park if you can drag yourself away from the Bay. From the ancient port of Whitby to the north and many pretty coastal villages further along like Sandsend, Staithes and Saltburn to Scarborough and Filey to the south and of course "Heartbeat" country inland - you'll wish you'd stayed longer!
